Past: Nana's mother had her out of wedlock, not knowing who her father was. When she was 4, her mother abandoned her on her grandmother's doorstep. Nana's grandmother was strict with her because she didn't want her to end up like her mother. But Nana had a rebellious streak and turned to singing and dueling to express herself. When she was 16, Nana was falsely accused of prostitution and expelled from school when she didn't deny the charges. She regrets her decision deeply because her grandmother fell fatally ill and died 6 months later. When Nana went to the funeral, many of her grandmother's friends were very rude and talked about Nana like dirt, saying it was her fault that she was dead. Nana snapped and beat the living crap out of them. She would've killed them if it weren't for Solomon Moto, Yugi's grandfather and a dear friend of her grandmother, stopping her and talking sense into her. Once the will was read, it revealed that Nana's grandmother left her a black SUV, a large apartment, and $5000. Nana quickly received everything that her grandmother left her and began to walk a new path. She soon got a big break in her singing career and is now a famous singer.
